Adventsure is an sports insurance company who dedicates to cover comprehensive requirements of extreme sports from sky to sea, who wanted to rebrand and create an effective B to C channels for both online and offline services.

STEP 1 & 2

As extreme sports are more risky and challenging, the sports insurance is critical for them to do their best performance in competitions without worries.

On the first step, our team interviewed several UK and European sportspersons in order to have the most precise point of views that opinions are useful and authentic to apply to this project.


The findings and insights we have learned:
  1. The current insurance websites are all business-oriented, as a result they could barely feel the services are connected.

  2. The policy for sports insurance service are wordy and hard to understand.

  3. They would be very interested in a website that is designed with the elements from extreme sports.

STEP 3, 4, 5  

Since the requirements of Advetsure include rebranding and building the website, I decided to utilise the Mind Map to begin this project and creative a comprehensive structure for coordinating the requirements.

 

Immersive Design

Since the brand identity has been created and confirmed by the Adventsure company, the next question is how the visual elements work the best to make the sportsperson immerse in the website, and navigation of finding the correct pathway that is really needed?

According to our research, it turned out full screen photography and subtle movement are able to successfully catch users' attention onto the content of a website.

 

Testing

The prototypes were tested and iterated due to the user feedback for ensuring that our website suits the sportsperson's actual requirements and to achieve the best results; a persuasive website that they are willing to purchase the insurance package to protect and comfort themselves while proceeding with extreme sports activities.

Colour Picking

Colour Picking is a design method that ITV has applied such technique to the variety of its visual presentation. Adventsure utilises colour picking to generate up to 5 colours from images or videos of sports, which designers are able to create the most powerful and meaningful colour combination that highlights the most exciting movement.
